Amanda Sotelo received her teaching credential and Bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fullerton. For the past two years, she was the fifth-grade teacher at Hope Lutheran School in Glendora. Prior to that she was a substitute teacher for the West Covina Unified School District. During the past four years, she has had the opportunity to work with students of various ages, levels of ability and academic backgrounds. In these situations, she was allowed to find the methods and means to work with each student to achieve his or her greatest potential. As an educator, she stands firm in her commitment to students, parents and the community. She vows to use her experience as a classroom teacher, great joy for teaching, and love for the individual student to be a positive contribution to CAPE. |
