Elizabeth Calawa received her Bachelor’s of Science in Education at the University of Houston–Clear Lake in Texas. She taught for five years in Friendswood, Texas before moving to California. Mrs. Calawa has taught in Ojai and Santa Paula the past three years. She loves learning, and she is thrilled to be at CAPE, where progressive education is valued so highly by the entire community. Mrs. Calawa is an avid reader, and she hopes to one day publish a book of her own. She and her husband Matt are newlyweds. They were just married during the summer.
