Heather Liddell dreamed of being a 4th grade teacher ever since she was in fourth grade herself. She loves writing and bringing California history alive for students. Heather Liddell received her teaching credential from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks. She began her teaching career in Goleta where she taught Kindergarten for 3 years, but she always had her heart set on 4th grade so as soon as she was able she moved. She is entering her 14th year of teaching, and her 11th one in 4th grade! She loves creating a classroom that fosters community and encourages a life long love of learning. In her free time Heather enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, reading for her book club, and cooking.
