Email Ms. Bryant

Konni Jo Bryant has been a teacher for 14 years, teaching kindergarten through sixth grade. Part of the curriculum design team of Ventura County’s first National Blue Ribbon School, Meadows Elementary, now MATES charter school in Thousand Oaks, she knows what hard work, long hours, and dedication are all about. When asked which grade is her favorite, she finds it impossible to choose just one because there is something wonderful and magical about each level of learning.

She received her Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University in Public Relations and Business, and her Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine's Graduate School of Education and Psychology. Ms. Bryant has been a master teacher to student teachers from both California Lutheran and Pepperdine Universities, training some of the best elementary teachers in the county.

Born in South Carolina, raised in Londonderry, Northern Ireland, and calling Nashville, Tennessee "home," Ms. Bryant loves to visit her huge southern family often, taking along her 12 year old daughter and 16 year old son. She is excited about being part of the CAPE family and hopes to inspire her students to become lifelong learners who enjoy exploring the beauty of the world around them. Her daughter, Kara, is a seventh grader at CAPE.
