Kelsey Scheimer has been teaching for 13 years. She received her teaching credential and Bachelor of Arts degree in liberal studies from California State University Chico. She most recently taught at Los Senderos Open School for five years and prior to that at Bedford Open School for six years. Both schools are in the Pleasant Valley School District. Mrs. Scheimer comes from a family tradition of teaching. Her mother and aunt are teachers and her grandfather was a teacher, principal and superintendent. She has a 2-year-old son who will become a CAPE student.
