Michele Keefer joins the CAPE staff with a deep commitment to the students of our community. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly Pomona, CA, and received her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential as an intern from UC Riverside. She taught third and fourth grade in Riverside, CA for six years prior to moving to Camarillo. For the past three years she has been a substitute at Los Senderos Open School and CAPE. She lives in Camarillo, is married, and has two daughters. The elder has successfully completed the open school system and is a sophomore at ACHS. The younger is currently a fifth grader at our school.
