Bethany ConnickBethany Connick, 7th Grade: Shhh…I want to tell you a secret. Mrs. Connick is very excited to have the opportunity to teach seventh grade at CAPE this year because she absolutely loves middle school students! She has had four years of experience working at Colina Middle School in Thousand Oaks, most recently as a long-term substitute teacher for the sixth grade. She went to college in Pennsylvania where she received her B.A. in Spanish. She then attended California State University, Channel Islands where she obtained both her Multiple Subjects and English teaching credentials. Mrs. Connick is energetic, creative, and loves learning. Her favorite activities include reading young adult novels, playing the piano, and cooking! She has also traveled across Europe and plans to use this experience to help bring the seventh grade curriculum to life. She is looking forward to motivating CAPE students to succeed by putting their best foot forward.
