Laurie Oberlander

Laurie Oberlander has over 14 years of experience working with children in various settings, including as a Campus Supervisor & Teacher’s Assistant for CAPE, as a Preschool Teacher for the Department of the Navy Childhood Development Centers at both Pt. Mugu & Pt. Hueneme, and as a one – one Paraeducator for Moorpark Unified School District. These places have given her the privilege of working with and learning from some of the best teachers in the field.

She grew up in Camarillo, and lives here with her wonderful husband, Rod, and two cats. They have three grown children, and two grandchildren (who live much too far away). She loves to read, go camping, and color in her coloring books! Coming back to CAPE feels like coming home, and she is very grateful for the opportunity.
