Mila PinedaMila Bedoya-Pineda was born and raised in Peru. She received her Master's Degree in Foreign Language Education from Moscow State University, Russia in 1995 and also studied Methodology of Teaching Spanish as a Second Language at the University of Granada, Spain. Mila is fluent in Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and English.
For over 10 years, Mila has been teaching Spanish to children and adults, both privately and at various schools in Ventura County. She founded and established The Multicultural Spanish Academy in 2006 and has taught hundreds of children and adults to learn how to speak Spanish through her innovative immersion programs. Mila enjoys working with children and adults of all ages, and loves to share her passion for the Spanish language and culture. She believes that "Learning a second language not only has a cognitive and academic benefits, it also supports a greater appreciation for other cultures." She is the mother of two bilingual kids and lives with her husband in Camarillo, Ventura County. Back to Staff page… |
